I've searched the forums for directions on how to display the most popular entries. I know there are 2 versions... BUT, they both have php includes. I'm familiar with setting up drop downs for the latest entries, weekly entries etc. But not this. How could I set up the most popluar entries (most commented on) so that it creates a drop down?

Can you change the "echo" line to output the HTML you need for your drop-down?

I tried that, but it doesn't work. It'd give me a parse error.

Mark's suggestion should work - maybe you are putting the drop down code outside of the echo quotation marks? Are you trying to do this with the and tags? The select should go outside of the loop (possibly before the php is included even) and the option goes with the echo statement for the entry itself.
