Probably an incompatible Berkeley DB version. There is information about trying to fix this in
the manual.. This should help you out.

You mean, export the entries and comments already in the blog? You can use MT's export mechanism to export all entries and comments--then just use the import mechanism on the new server to import them all back in.

Just a quick question, though I'm afraid I already know the answer ... When I click on the export feature in MT, am I only supposed to see a couple of entries? Or should I be seeing all of them? Logically, I should see all of them, no?

Ok, so I take all the files from the db folder and put them on the other server.
Now I cannot get past the sign-in screen. Invalid login. Won't let me on with Melody, my name or any of the names!
So now what do I do?
Re-install? Do I lose all the entries that I sent over? I do have them in a .cgi file. ACK, help, please!

Is there a way to import her files and just put them in the blog?
I may just have her start over again and have the link to the other blog.
Thanks Ben, for your help though.

Well, I wish I had done that in the beginning, worked like a charm though, thanks, Ben!

You should see all of the entries for the particular blog that you are trying to export, yes.
