This may be a really stupid question for you MT experts, but I need help, please.

My current MT blog is in the root directory, and I would like to move it to a subdomain folder. How do I do so and what extra steps do I have to take? The MT login file itself is in its own separate folder in the main directory.

Thank you so much!!! *bows to the MT guru gods*

You can change the location that your weblog will be published to by editing the Publishing Path settings. Create your subdirectory on the server, copy any relevant files into that directory, and then rebuild your site to update the links in the published pages.

One thing you should watch out for are any links to files that were in the root directory, such as images, which might now be in the subdirectory. You may need to edit your entries/templates to update those.

I can simply just move all the files over to another folder? And that will work? Wow. smile.gif That's pretty darn easy. Even the archives folder?

Thanks!!!
