I am trying to create a new blog to publish and update a dataset that is currently in an excel spreadsheet.

I've installed MT4.21 specifically to use the Custom Fields plugin so that I can create custom fields for the entries.

I understand how to create an import file for the primary Entry fields to load this data into MT. Can the basic format be extended to allow data loading into the custom fields using the Import function in MT? Alternatively, is there anyway to also upload data into the custom fields as well so that I can avoid entering the additional entry metadata by hand?
