I am trying to restore my existing movable type blog onto a new server.

I have installed the latest version of MT on my new server and when I try to restore the file from the old server I receive this error

An error occurred during the restore process: Uploaded file was backed up from Movable Type but the different schema version (4.0026) from the one in this system (4.0067). It is not safe to restore the file to this version of Movable Type. at lib/MT/BackupRestore/BackupFileHandler.pm line 56. Please check activity log for more details.

Can anyone help?

I'm guessing the old and new servers have different versions of MT installed, hence the schema version conflict. Export and import to the same version, then you can upgrade MT to the latest.
