I have installed one new blog. And now I want to replicate the existing blog to the new blog. Both running on MT4.

I have done the backup from the old blog and now I want to restore it into new blog. But the system said, the schema is different. What its mean??
How i want to make the schema same.

And one more thing, what is the difference between Import/Export with Backup/Restore??

Different schema's means you're running two different versions of MT.

Export will create a fairly incomplete backup of entries and comments, basically a carryover from MT3. Import will, of course, import that. Backup will create a complete backup of your templates, pages, entries, comments, and blog settings. Restore will let you recreate a blog from the backup.

so backup will make me the new blog exactly like the existing one right?

may I know do you have MT 4.12 ... because my current blog running on that version but I lost the installer ...and my new blog running on 4.21 .. there is problem restore the backup (schema different).
