I have whose entries include many links to entries in a second weblog.

When I publish an entry in the first weblog it sends lots of TrackBacks to the second weblog. In MT 2.661 this worked erratically - the page listing the TrackBacks being sent would hang, duplicate pings would get sent, only some of them would send, etc. But eventually I'd get all the pings sent.

I've just upgraded to 3.11, and published a new entry in the first weblog. It sent five pings to the second weblog and then returned me to the Edit Entry screen reporting an error. The Activity Log shows several errors like this:
QUOTE
Ping 'http://www.gyford.com/cgi-bin/mt-tb.cgi/919' failed: HTTP error: 403 Throttled

If I try and save the entry again, no further pings are sent and I get more of the above errors.

I've read various things about ThrottleSeconds, and tried adding "ThrottleSeconds 0" to mt.cfg, but to no effect.

How can I successfully send all these TrackBacks? Thanks.
