I updated my blog from 3.15 to 3.2, refreshed my templates to 3.2 defaults, then installed and ran Stylecatcher. The result? A one-column mess with the wrong typeface, no images, incorrect colors, and the normal sidebar content crammed in the bottom. This happens no matter how many times I rebuild, and is the same regardless of which theme I choose.

HELP!!! sad.gif

StyleCatcher works great for me.

Did you refresh your templates? 3.15 templates are very different from those of 3.2

I refreshed everything, and rebuilt after each refresh. No dice. Even manually installing the new themes doesn't work.

A link to the site you're working on (with the styles in place) would be helpful if you're looking for advice on how to fix this - rather than a survey on who has gotten the plugin working. wink.gif

Right now, I'm forced to use the default:

Well, if you replace your desired style, and the problem continues, if you post a link to THAT, then we'll have a better chance of being able to spot the problem. smile.gif

Looking at the stylesheet linked now, I see the following:

CODE
/* This is the StyleCatcher theme addition. Do not remove this block. */
@import url(/blog/mt-static/base-weblog.css);
@import url(/blog/mt-static/theme-beckett/theme-beckett.css);
/* end StyleCatcher imports */

The reason you're not getting any styles applied that there are no files at those URLs to import the styles from.

http://www.liquidcross.com/blog/mt-static/base-weblog.css
http://www.liquidcross.com/blog/mt-static/...eme-beckett.css

Where are these files on your server? Where is your /themes/ directory? What have you set for your Theme Root URL and Theme Root Path in the StyleCatcher settings?

Got it working..sort of. The Theme Root URL was incorrect.

However, my sidebar's not showing up properly, still. It's still being dumped at the very bottom of the page. Take a look?

Where is the base-weblog.css file? Did you move it also, and correct the URL for it in the Stylesheet template?

You might find it easier to re-install the style of your choice, now that you have corrected your settings for the plugin.

p.s. It's not necessasry to quote an entire response if it's the one prior to yours. That just makes the ticket longer than it needs to be.

Hi there,

first time I am asking for help. After trying for a few days to get 3.2 to work, there seems to remain a problem with the stylesheet. I have read the comments in this post, but it does not help.

Could anyone please take a look?

I'm not sure what you have done, but it appears you have a previous to 3.2 template and a 3.2 stylesheet. They don't work together. Either update the sylesheet or replace the template with an earlier version
