I've got an MT site that's configured to accept TrackBacks from anyone, but won't. Auto-discovery is enabled, and autodiscovery code is present in individual archive pages. Disable Trackbacks is not checked. I've tried pinging both the permalink URL and the TB URL. I've tried rendering the TB URL in both formats:
mt-tb.cgi?tb_id=XX mt-tb.cgi/XX But there's absolutely no record of an incoming trackback attempt in the activity logs or on the permalink page. What other factors could contribute to TBs being entirely blocked or inoperable? Thanks, Scot -------------------- [Do not look into laser with remaining eye!]

Do you have an entry in your log that looks like this?
Caught attempt to clear SchemaVersion setting. New config settings were: SQLSetNames 0 MT::App::takedown('MT::App::Trackback=HASH(0x 7650e30)') called at lib/MT/App.pm line 2737 MT::App::run('MT::App::Trackback=HASH(0x7650e 30)') called at lib/MT/Bootstrap.pm line 76 eval {...} called at lib/MT/Bootstrap.pm line 59 MT::Bootstrap::import('MT::Bootstrap', 'App', 'MT::App::Trackback') called at mt\mt-tb.cgi line 11 main::BEGIN() called at lib/MT.pm line 11 eval {...} called at lib/MT.pm line 11 I think this is affecting my trackbacks. Now if someone could just tell me how to fix this. |
