Hi,

I wanted to use Captcha bundled in MT4. The I installed ImageMagick but once I did this, mt-comments.cgi started to eat all RAM available on my dedicated server. So for the moment the only solution I found was to rename mt-comments.cgi so that it is not executed anymore.

Which means I can't post anything new nor receive new comments. I was wondering how was that but I don't find any information about that particular matter. If I put back online mt-comments.cgi with its original name, in 3 seconds, my average server load goes like crazy.

I really don't know what to do. Any help would be more than welcome.

I think the problem comes from ImageMagick. I tried to do a clean install. When I open mt-check.cgi, it says ImageMagick is not installed. And here is what I got in my error.log:

CODE
Deep recursion on subroutine "Image::Magick::AUTOLOAD" at /usr/lib64/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/x86_64-linux/Image/Magick.pm line 42.

After doing some research, it seems the problem comes from PerlMagick that can't be installed correctly. When I prepare the install for PerlMagick, here is what I get after entering perl Makefile.PL:

CODE
Warning: -L../magick/.libs changed to -L/tmp/im/ImageMagick-6.3.8/PerlMagick/../magick/.libs
Warning: -L../wand/.libs changed to -L/tmp/im/ImageMagick-6.3.8/PerlMagick/../wand/.libs
Writing Makefile for Image::Magick

I really don't know where to head and trust me it's a real pain in the *** since I can not use my blog anymore (can't create any post etc.).

Please help me biggrin.gif
