Hi.

Trying to install MT 4.1

When I point my browser to mt.cgi (in cgi-bin),I get option to save, openor cancel.

IfI open, I see this:

CODE
Got an error: "ebcdic2ascii" is not exported by the CGI::Util module
"ascii2ebcdic" is not exported by the CGI::Util module
Can't continue after import errors at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/CGI.pm line 27
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/CGI.pm line 27.
Compilation failed in require at lib/MT/App/CMS.pm line 21.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at lib/MT/App/CMS.pm line 21.
Compilation failed in require at lib/MT/Bootstrap.pm line 62.

I installed both MT 2.63 and MT 3.35with no problems. Why am I having problems now?

BTW - the "Hello World" test.cgi file works fine in this directory (where mt.cgi is located).

Thanks for trying to help, Dan.

I finally got MTOS installed & working:

http://forums.sixapart.com/index.php?showtopic=64963

Had weird experience with directories in my cgi-bin.

Some would not run basic, simpletest.cgi

Others would run no mt cgi scripts.

I will not even try to speculate wtf was going on.

But, like I said, finally got 'er working (perseverence always pays).
