Hi.

I just moved my site from Shared hosting to a VPS.

Everything went fine with the move, but now when I try to launch/open my blog, mt.cgi wants to *download* (not launch the program).

Might also be helpful to know that I have *3* versions of MT currently installed: v2.63, v3.35 and v4.1

MT 2.63 still launches fine, but version 3.35 and 4.1 both do the same thing. The file mt.cgi tries to download.

If I open the files mt.cgi, I get the following error:

QUOTE
Got an error: Error opening file '/mt-config.cgi': No such file or directory

.. which might be correct, since mt-config.cgi is not present on my home computer, at least not where I open mt.cgi

Things I checked:

1. absolute path remained the same
2. chmods are all the same (755)
3. all the files are in fact there (I can see them)

The site was move via a cPanel full back-up archive, and unarchived at the new server via script used by the tech there (who seem far more knowledgable than myself).

Also note that all the blogs works fine:

mt 4.1 > http://mt4.radified.com/

mt 3.35 > http://blogs.radified.com/

mt 2.63 > http://blog.radified.com/

It's just launching the blog interface on mt 3.35 and v4.1 where i get the problem.

the tech at my new host confirms the problems. he gets the same thing, but has no answers. Hopefully you do.

Everything was working fine at the old host.

Update > I also get the same error when *Searching*.

This normally means that the location is not set to allow scripts to run, so it downloads it.

"The location"?

The location is a directory in cgi-bin. I have other scripts in there (such as the forum script, plus the v2.63 flavor ot MT) that are running fine.

Is there something I can check? Something I can do?
