I am relatively new to Movable Type and am trying to figure out the styles.css associated with the different screen components. When in Dreamweaver I see a nicely laid out screen showing three columns with the search widgets in the middle of the screen. However, when I view the live page with IE7 the search widget does not appear at the top middle of the screen, it appears towards the bottom of the pages overlapping some of the first column.

I really have no idea what to look for in the styles.css file in order to correct this issue. The problem is occuring on all three of my index pages - template, archive, and monthly. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

In IE6 things look correct so it appears the problem is with IE7 only.

Thanks in advanced.

JP

I'd be interested in knowing this as well. Personally I would just like to delete the search box as it limits the number of top navigational links across the top.

Yes perhaps it would be better if there was an option to delete any of the unwanted elements in the nav bar as it would make the CMS more customizable.

Hello Guys,

JP, send me the URL where that occurs and I will be able to help

Rolland, I've provided you the solution to that point on another topic, yesterday

Defiant, you could simply remove such a feature from the templates...

Kind Regards,
