How do you comment MovableType code?

Obviously, I can use <!-- HTML comments --> but I'd prefer these comments be visible only to people looking at the template code, not at the interpreted HTML source code.

I've found it difficult to search the documentation about this b/c of course all the pages about blog commenting appear.

thanks!

You can use <mt:Ignore> http://www.movabletype.org/documentation/a...ags/ignore.html

QUOTE (OtherNiceMan @ Jan 17 2009, 12:23 PM) *

Works well! I found I could also give it a value:
<mt:ignore value="This isn't working; we always get the default" />

(only then I finally noticed the mistake, so you helped me no longer need this comment!)
