 Publishing Options, "entry" Is The Only Preferred Archive Ty |

I created a blog that initially did not have any archives. Now I would like to have archive pages for the blog. So I went into the blog settings | Publishing | Publishing Options to set the Preferred Archive Type to "Monthly". However, the only option is "Entry". Normally (for my other blogs in the same install) I will have the options of selecting either "Entry" or "Monthly". "Monthly" is not showing up as an option.
How do I get "Monthly" to show up as an option again? Also, in Design | Templates | Archive Templates, I have a "Date-Based Archive". In that template I would like to create an archive mapping with Type: "Monthly". But the only Type of archive mapping I can create is "Entry". I am assuming this is related to the issue in my Blog Settings where I can't set Preferred Archive Type to "Monthly". Any advise? |
