Is there any way to change the format of your date? Right now mine is displaying as (ex)

November 24, 2002

and I'd like it to look like this:

11.24.02

Is that possible?

Check out the date format section in the manual - I think this is the format you are looking for -

CODE

<$MTEntryDate format="%m.%d.%y"$>

but you'll want to check and make sure
