This just popped up in the middle of November 2002.  When I made a new entry, a MySQL error occured.  After much research, I have discovered the following.

When I try a rebuild of my Monthly archives, I get this error:

An error occurred:
Statement has no result columns to bind (perhaps you need to successfully call execute first) at lib/MT/ObjectDriver/DBI/mysql.pm line 183.

When I try a rebuild of my Catagory archives, I get this error:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@peace.us and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.26 Server at www.peace.us Port 80

The error log shows the following:

[Mon Dec 2 09:53:27 2002] [error] [client ***.***.***.***] Premature end of script headers: /home/bpeace/???/***/mt/mt.cgi

This error also appeared in the log after I attempted the first full rebuild of the morning:

[Mon Dec 2 09:50:58 2002] [error] (12)Cannot allocate memory: exec of /home/bpeace/???/***/mt/mt.cgi failed

I have tried upgrading to the latest version of MT, but it has had no noticable effect.

:0   Oh yuck.  Poor you, that doesn't look good. huh.gif

It looks like server troubles.  What does your host have to say?
btrott
That's odd. Did your host change anything MySQL-related recently?

I submitted there at the same time.  The reply was that the issue was resolved and that I needed to test it again to see if it worked.  I did, and it didn't.  They are back to figuring out what's up.  What sort of thing causes this type of issue?

The most significant annoyance was that I was posting my National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) novel via MT and it took twice as long while I jumped through hoops to get the index pages and the catagory pages (which still work in that blog, just no monthlies...wierd) to post.
