At the moment I have Daily, Monthly, and Individual archiving checked off in my Archives preferences.  Permalinks to a specific entry, however, are not working.  Whichever entry I try to link, I am taken back to the current entry.  I'm sure there's an easy fix to this, but I don't know what that is.

Also, is there a really in-depth how-to regarding calendars and archives?  The calendar on my index page shows the current month only and offers no way to get to the previous month or the following month.

What version of MT are you using?  The current default templates have a few tags in them that won't work unless you're using 2.5.  Could that be the case?  A URL?

MT was just loaded, so it's the newest version [2.5?]

If you'd like to make calendars for previous months, set up the calendar code in your monthly archive template.  If you're already using the monthly archive template, you can create an additional template to do the calendar in.

Yes, luckily I was able to get the permalinks to work the way they should, but not the calendar.
