Is there a script that lets me know how many visitors I have for the main page? or perhaps also for other pages?

Thanks!

This is something which has been on MT user's wishlists for a while - an integrated counter. But as of now it is not integrated.

There are several options for free counters hosted by other companies, surf blogs or search google and you'll find them.

Also you can look for a free hit counter script to put on your page if you run cgi. Hotscripts.com or Scriptsearch.com offer large choices of scripts which accomplish this goal.

As for getting stats on different pages, mostly you just take the code and put it on different pages. I put my counter on each entry I have, it allows me to see what people go directly to and which ones are the most popular.

Hmmm, I must have missed that one during my re-read of the Requested Features forum.

I currently use SiteMeter (though the past few days, it seems to have been down - rather unusual), but I don't display the count on my page. I also use several other referral/visitor tracking scripts, but I am not sure whether they have options for counter display or not.

I use a little php counter called phphits and it can be found at phpresourceindex.com. It allows me to display total visits, visitors by certain # of hours and total online right now. I also use a bravenet.com counter just because it can graph things nicely but for day to day stuff and a quick look at the logs phphits works well.
