I would like to list on the "collective blog" of our, the last 'x' entries from the different individual blogs that are running on the MT installation. Is it possible ?

Or if not, maybe listing those who have recently been updated... Can you give me a hint on how to proceed ?

There are ways to do it with SSI or PHP - but it's probably easiest to try out the MTOtherBlog plugin first.
