Do the entries still show up in list & edit entries? Is the post status set to publish on those entries? Did you run mt-upgrade.cgi?

update:

tried changing publish/draft flag and then back.
tried turning off individual archives and then back.

Still no progress on those entries.

MT 2.0 converted from 1.4, about 8 blogs, several with large numbers of blogger imported entries (perhaps 1500 entries in all blogs).

Problem: Most blogs have individual archives.  If those are rebuilt, some entries are generated and some are not, with no (as yet) detectable pattern and no error displayed.  If the next entry is not in the list, MTNext doesn't show it.

On one blog, of 77 entries listed, about half actually get regenerated. I don't think any of the Blogger imported ones do and maybe 5 that are newer than that also fail.

At least 2 other blogs also show this problem.

Any ideas?  clues?  tools?  hacks to help us see what's going on?

We've asked the blog owners to stop adding and editing their blogs so we can debug this.

Yes, they can be edited, comments deleted, etc.  They are also there when we export entries.

Is the post status set to publish on those entries?

Yes, I will try toggling it to see what happens.
