Okay, I have two questions, and I hope they can be answered by someone out there.

First, I would like to alternate colors for the entries, have one one background color, and one another for easier reading. I can do PHP on my server, plus CGI, SHTML, the usual.

My other question regards the collapsable entries. Is there a way using the collapsable entries, to always have the entry collapse without me having to enter text into the excerpt, and body field? In other words, I always want the text to collapse at x number of words.

You could use the FirstN plugin to display a certain amount of your text, but I'm not sure how to only show the rest without displaying the FirstN again....
