Hey, folks -- looking for what I hope is a straightforward procedure. smile.gif

I'm running MT 2.62 with the Berkeley DB back end. When I first set it up, I went a little blog-crazy and created three separate blogs. Now the urge to simplify has hit me.

Is there any way (read: any relatively easy way) to combine the entries in those three blogs into one? Maybe a database command I can use? (But I don't have telnet access.)

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hmmm, if you were using the MySQL backend, you could probably just change all of the Blog ID values to the central blog you wanted them to be in....  but with your set up, I'd say Export the entries from the secondary blogs, and then Import them into the central blog.  This will change the Entry IDs on the entries being imported in, so depending on how many people are linking to the pages on your secondary blogs, you might need to make some redirecting pages.

Ah - sounds good! The whole thing is new enough that I doubt many people link to anything (this despite it being both witty and memorable :-).

Thanks -- gonna try it now!
