Is it possible to edit the search template from the application or is editing it manually from the Search_templates directory the unique solution?

Well, you could use a module in your blog to link to the search template for easy access to the template.  You could use a different alternate search template for each blog; you'll want to set up their names in the mt.cfg file first though.

Here's what I do -- create a New Module named Search Results and put something like this in the Link To File box: /home/USERNAME/public_html/mt/search_templates/ALTERNATE_NAME.tmpl

Hope that helps get you started smile.gif

It really helps. Thanks a lot.

Now, I would like more! On the main page, I have a simplified search form and I would create below a link to an "Advanced search" page. I have found in the documenation the information to create the advanced form, but if I put it in a "normal" page the MT tags are not interpreted. So how to do that?

Thanks.

I use an Index Template for my advanced search page.
Use the code from the docs to put in all the options.
