Not an MT feature request, but a MT forum request.

Could you plese default the Forum Search to all open forums? I can't tell you how many times I have hit search and gotten the "You need to select a forum" error message.

Now seriously... the would probably never happen. If there is no option on ikonboard config for that setting i dont think you'll ever get this. The mods dont seem to like touching the ikonboard code

That means one more thing to remember to amend when ikonboard is uggraded.


If it's any consolation, clicking "search" when you're browsing a specific forum will select it on the search form

I can't tell you how much I'd rather have Mena and Ben working on MT than messing with the forum settings.  :)

Besides which - the "Request a Feature" forum is for MT features, not Ikonboard features.  ;)

If you enter the moveable type forum and click on search, enter a search term, and hit enter you will get an error saying "you didn't select a forum". It makes more sense to have a non-specific search default to searching all forums. This happens to me frequently. I assumed it happened to others as well. Hence, I thought it was broke.

I also assumed that would take about 3 seconds to change a setting. I hereby retract my obviously outrageous request.
