I was wondering about the possibility of a plugin that would facilitate polls in blogs. I was thinking it would have an admin page for the polls.
I'm not very sure about how polls on webpages work, so I'm not sure if it'd be a better idea to have it as a separate script, or a plugin (with a poll admin page).
Unfortunately, I have no idea as to how one would go about creating such a plugin. Would it be better to just have the poll handled by a separate script and then so a SSI on it? Also what other documentation is there for making plugins? I read the one on O'Reilly, and was wondering if there were any additional resources out there.

Sounds like the kind of functionality I should incorporate into a future version of my
MTVote plugin.

Yeah, something similar to the polls on
Slashdot.
btw, the plugin you're referencing allows users to vote for a particular post, correct?
Thanks,

At the moment, it does, yes. But that doesn't mean that I can't extend it further.

Ok, cool.
Thanks

I don't know what I could do to help, but if there's anything, let me know.
