It is possible to delete a template to an archive type and not be able to rebuild a blog. Also, when attempting to fix such a situation, it is not possible to select a different template for an existing archive type. One must delete the old archive type and add a new one.
Suggestion: When deleting an archive template, it should be warned that any existing archive settings that make use of that template will also be deleted. It only makes sense - without the template, what else is MT to do? Either that or it should be permissable to choose a new template for an existing archive type.
Did any of this make sense?
