I was just wondering how other bloggers were able to split their blogs up...  Such as cheeken and my friend have done?  Also, how did my friend make it so the titles such as "Search" and "Links" were highlighted ?  Blahhh, I am such a beginner blogger... hehehe...  

Not sure what you mean by "split up."

Your friend is using one of the default stylesheets ("georgia blue") provided by the nice MT people--check out:

To use one of these, copy the text of the stylesheet, go into your MT editing screen, click Templates, then Stylesheet. Delete the old contents and paste in the new.

i think i know waht he/she means: those guys have categories (a menu on the right/left that divides the site up into neatly organized section) and i want to figure out how to do that too.

Ahhh thanks for those links.  I put them into my site, and not everything is working well.  I was wondering if there was anywhere else that might provide more "skins" such as the ones you provided.
