i found this on Mark Pilgrims site

He saves his post under the title name of his new entry. Which is for this entry the_big_day. How can i setup this?

Actually my new entries are saved as 17.html or 18.html.

You'll want to use the "dirify" attribute for your file names - it's easy to set up; see here for an explanation.
