I was wondering if there is a mod to add clickable Smilies to my post, kind of like this forum and other fourms. I would like to be able to have a box next to the text box where I enter my update/post and be able to click on some smilies and have then pop in the textbox and show up in my post, just like this forum and others.

Does anyone know if there is a mod out there for MT like this? I would assume there would be, but couldnt find one.

Im confused on what file I need to add this to so I can use this when Im writing an entry for my blog.

I believe that the scriptygoddess idea is for having smilies next to your comment box rather than in your MT screen for when you are writing entries.

There are other tutorials, but anything that adds the smilies to your entry screen is a hack to the source code. The main one I know of is Josh Cooper's hack.

I use Lisa's tutorial and then actually type : ) smilies in my post and they get converted to icons in the post with the MT Macros plugin.
