I run one main blog and then a handful of sub-blogs. Is there a way, on the main blog page, to include an automatic "last update" date?

So on the sidebar, instead of saying "Mike's Goddamn Blog," for example, it would say "Mike's Goddamn Blog (last updated 06-09-2003)" or whenever the last update was?

I'm hoping there's a way I can do this.

Use the date tag formats to get the date style you want.

Showing the dates for the other blogs? You could do what girlie said in conjunction with the OtherBlog plugin. Note the dates won't update until you rebuild the main blog index.
