I have been running MT since January 2003 without a problem. I made an entry on June 27th and left for holidays. When I returned a week later and tried to post my entire "blog" part of my blog is missing. www.lazyblonde.com to the naked eye it looks perfect except that there are no entries. I never made any changes to the templates in that time and cannot figure out what I've done.

In my MT control panel it shows the two posts with the correct dates, but after multiple attempts at rebuilding they don't show on the front page, or in the archives of the blog itself.

Has anyone encountered this problem? Can anyone help me? I had another blogger install my MT for me and I don't really know anything about the background stuff.

Thanks,
Kimmie

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm really desperate to get this fixed! wink.gif

you're probably using the default of showing the last seven days worth of entries. since your last entry was on june 27th and you must have rebuilt recently, you won't see any entries on the main page. if you want entries to remain on the main blog page regardless of when they were made, then you'll have to use the lastn modifier in the mtentries tag of your main index template.

example:
CODE
<MTEntries lastn="7">
the above will show the last seven entries regardless of when they were made.

Hmmm. The only problem with that idea is that the entries aren't showing up on her archives either (which wouldn't be affected by the blog configuration setting).

I can think of only two things offhand:

1) entries not set to PUBLISH status

2) server has changed paths somehow so that MT is publishing to a location other than the one where you're expecting it to publish

I had it set for the last 14 days showing. And I had actually made two entries in July when I discovered the error so the June 27th entry isn't really my last one.

I thing the problem is that the "rebuilding" isn't working but I don't know why.

Thanks for replying. My settings are for "publish" and are also set to rebuild to the correct place. It seems as though they aren't rebuilding though. I'm up in arms! AHHH!! I feel so naked being blogless for over a week now.
