I ran across an interesting site at baseballblogs.org where all baseball blogs were organized onto one site via RSS feeds. How did they do it? Can this be done with Movabletype? It would be cool to have a page of all movabletype resources on one site via RSS feeds.

I use the RSS Feed plugin to do something like that on the MT-Plugins.org: Syndicate page.

Thanks for the tip Kristine... I have the MT-RSSfeeds plugin installed and working. My question is how do I get a short excerpt from each of the RSS feeds to show up. I can get the headlines from the feeds, but can't figure out if I can show a short blurp/excerpt and if so how to control the length of it. Thanks for any advice.

I think that you might be able to use MTRSSFeedItemDescription tag to get the excerpt, but if it doesn't, you might check out the MTRSSFeedElement name="namespace_qualified_tag_name" where you can specify the element name from the RSS feeds
