Ok, this is a weird problem.
I just changed servers and everything was fine...I imported all of my old entries, and it works fine. If I enter an entry for the same day, it shows up, no problem.
Buuuuut.....if I go to enter an entry and change it to a day in the past (ie: I find an entry from my old paper journal, and I type it in and want to change the date to 01/01/01), my current entry on the main page stops showing up. This never happened before. I'm only doing one day's worth of entries per page. When I enter a new entry, it shows up, but only if it's for the current date.
I have a feeling that it has something to do with the fact that I imported all of my entries together.
What can I do about it?

What does your <MTEntries> line in the Main Index Template look like?

CODE
<MTEntries> <MTDateHeader>
<div class="header"><$MTEntryDate format="%B %d, %Y"$>
</MTDateHeader></div><br> <a name="<$MTEntryID pad="1"$>"></a>
<div class="title"><$MTEntryTitle$></div>
Category: <div class="posted"><MTEntryCategory></div>
<p>
<$MTEntryBody$><br>
<div class="posted">Posted by <$MTEntryAuthor$> at <a href="<$MTEntryLink$>#<$MTEntryID pad="1"$>"><$MTEntryDate
format="%I:%M %p"$></a></div>
<MTEntryIfAllowComments>
| <a href="<$MTCGIPath$><$MTCommentScript$>?entry_id=<$MTEntryID$>" onclick="OpenComments(this.href); return false">Comments (<$MTEntryCommentCount$>)</a>
</MTEntryIfAllowComments>
<p>
</MTEntries>
Also, I don't think all of my categories are showing up in my monthly archives...

What do you have for the "number of days to display" in Blog Configuration | Preferences?

Just one...

Well, then it's only going to display an entry which you posted with a date within the last 24 hours. When you rebuild the site by adding the older entry, whatever's currently there will drop off unless it's dated within the 24 hour period preceding your rebuild.
If you always want the most recent entry to show regardless of date, use <MTEntries lastn="1"> in your Main Index Template.

But, you see...before the server change, ie: before I imported all of my entries, it would still show the most current entry.
This is only happening when I enter an entry, and then change it's date, say: to 01/02/01. That entry shows up as the date that I changed it to, but my most recent entry no longer shows up as the most recent entry.
Does this make sense? It worked fine before my server change.
I'm going to try your suggestion, and hopefully that should take care of it.
Thanks!

Before you imported your old entries, were you going back and adding old entries?? Or did you just start doing this after the server change?
Unless you're saying that the current entry is still within the 24 hour period and it's disappearing anyway, it sounds to me like it's behaving exactly as it should.
You could test this by waiting 24 hours after posting an entry, then rebuild your Main Index (without posting either a new or old entry). The current entry should disappear from the page.
OR - are you saying the old entry shows up as the current entry on your main page?
