I'm looking for ideas on how I can creatively incorporate an outside CMS, calendar or something else that

• uses user accounts
  
• will show user birthdays
  
• exports for use in external web pages (on MT homepage)

Any ideas? I was thinking about somehow combining postnuke and MT - but I dont know if I can export their module's data for display on non-postnuke pages. My main concern is being able to use bookmarkets to update news. That's a very nice feature.
