I'm about to Donate to MT, and so have more traffic to my site through MT's listings.

I have some questions about things I am not yet utilizing.

Especially RSS, XML. How important are these. I mean, how important would you rate them?

I still have some Archive "issues" but I think I need to do more work on the server set-up.

I plan to have a new (separate) index page which will highlight the best things posted in one month.

Might this be better as a sideblog? Or, could someone define/show me a sideblog in action?

Also: Could I set up an MT site to sell my mother's crafts? (wreaths, etc.)? Would this need to be a "commercial" site?
