I don't know why, but everytime I create a new entry and rebuild all the pages, it changes my new CSS back to my previous CSS. Does anyone know why this is happening?
http://www.dbdesigns.usit should have a light blue background behind the entries, but after I rebuild it goes back to the old CSS which has a white background. I've never had this problem before.
what's up?

How are you editing the stylesheet? From within MT, or externally?

externally in Wordpad

So, you're editing it, then uploading it to your server? Or copying and pasting it into the Stylesheet template in MT?

editing it, then uploading it to server. I take it, it's better to edit thru MT?

No, not that it is better to edit from within MT. I think the problem is that you are saving the one you edit externally and upload with the same name that MT is using. Then, MT is overwriting it with the version that is saved inside the application.
If you prefer to edit externally and upload, login to MT, go to your blog and then to templates. Choose the stylesheet template and uncheck the box that says to rebuild automatically. Save changes and upload your stylesheet again.
Does that hlep?

I just added a new test entry. if you look at it now, the background is white and the font is changed.
I have 2 CSS documents. My directory is called daily and under that is blog. In this Blog directory is the css controling the actual blog (styles-site.css). Above in the daily directory is a css called (styles.css). Now if I change the styles.css, that changes what I see when I log into MT to add/edit entries, styles-site.css is linked to my actual blog. But when I add looks like the old blog I had. what am i doing wrong?

Yes, styles.css is what styles the application. By default, it has no control over your blog.

Thanks NDNS, that worked. I'll make sure to take note of that for the next site update.
Cheers!
