I don't know if this is actually a bug, but, I tried to install the weather::underground plugin and since I din't know where to put the .pm and .pl files, I put them both in the plugin directory just off the main MT install directory.

I had trouble logging in to mt.cgi and this text appeared at the top of the screen:

1..7 Set-Cookie: user=Michael%3A%3Afb0CtmC1YeBBM%3A%3A0; path=/moveabletype/ Date: Thu, 14 Aug 2003 00:33:01 GMT Pragma: no-cache Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1

When I removed all the weather related files from the plugin directory, the problem went away.

Can I just say, that it would be great if the plugin authors, along with the outstanding work they do in creating plugins, could also create a basic how-to-do-it text file, with instructions on what goes where, to help all of us who want to use the plugin, but are not yet as familiar with perl and such to know where these files are supposed to go. It would probably cut down on the number of posts like mine, where in my excitement to use the plugin, I do damage to my files, or create work for someone else to figure out my problem.

Respectfully,

Mick
