I would like MT to automagically create a forum thread in PHPBB whenever I create a new blog entry. Has anyone tried this?

I assume this will mean mucking with the CGI scripts and whatnot. That doesn't frighten me. Much.

I realize MT has comments, but the forum software has better editing capabilities for entries, better admin capabilities, its just all around better for carrying on in-depth discussions.

Try a forum search of older posts for phpBB - there are a few posts in the results that are about this subject.
