Full Version: Thumbnail feature vanishes

Hi:

I installed Movable Type on my Hostway westporthistory.com site in July and it has been working fine, including the feature that allows me to upload through Movable Type an image and/or an image thumbnail. Until a few days ago this was working fine. Suddenly when I went through the same process as always it stopped giving me the window that allows me to choose a thumbnail and set the size.

I'm at a loss to know why. It could, of course, be a problem with the server and I have written the Web hosting company and asked them to check the Image::Magick Perl module

I have MT installed with another Web hosting company and this feature continues to work fine. I have used it on my westporthistory.com site dozens of times.

Anyone have any suggestions? Are there certain scripts I should reinstall? Looking at the names of them I wasn't sure where to start?huh.gif

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. Please reply to Greg Stone - gstonema@earthlink.net

Who is your hosting company? The same thing has happened to me this week and I am trying to see if we have the same hosts... I am using Hostway.

Yes, I have Hostway as well and I have describde the problem to them and suggested it is their Image::Magick Perl module. Hope they fix it soon. sad.gif

Problem fixed - I got a response form Hostway saying the Perl script was installed - I replied asking them to reinstall it -I don't know yet if that's what they did, but the thumbnails started working a few hours after my last message to Hostway and I didn't do anything else to fix them. tongue.gif
