Full Version: Truncated "Preferences" page

For some reason, there is a portion missing from my MT control panel that is preventing me from changing any of the settings under the Preferences section of my Weblog Config menu, because the "Update" button usually at the bottom of the page never loads - like the file has been truncated or something...

Here is a screenshot of what I am seeing.

I tried fixing it by upgrading from MT 2.62 to 2.64, but that didn't change anything.

I have tried loading the page on Win 98 using IE 5.5 and Mozilla, NT using IE 5.5, IE6 and Mozilla and Win2000 using IE 6 and Mozilla. No joy.

Any ideas what can be done to fix it? All help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

That's weird. Usually cut-off forms are caused by bad input in a text box, but that's cutting off in the middle of an html tag, not in or after a text box.

If you submit the form by hitting enter in a (single-line) text box does it come up the same way? (not sure if that works in ie 5.5, but it does in 6, and Mozilla.)

Even though I'd have thought it would be fixed by upgrading, you might want to try re-uploading {mt_directory}/tmpl/cms/cfg_prefs.tmpl
