Are you sure styles.css is uploaded?  That would cause that problem.

I just installed 2.0 and everything is running fine, but the text boxes (for entering entries, editing tepmlates, etc.) are very thin. Is there any way to make them wide, like they were in the previous version? (And like these text boxes are.)

I think that maybe something is weird, because they should be about the same size as they were before!

You are upgrading?  Or a fresh install?

Could it be that you need to set up StaticWebPath in mt.cfg?  The directions for that are here, under "Images, styles, and documentation do not show up".

Please post back how that goes!

Ahhh. There we go. Thank you very much!   I apparently had the styles.css in the wrong place. (Oops.)
