Hmm, when i upload an image it asks me to click on the site or archive location for the file - when i click on the ? the correct path comes up for both of them - and the image file gets placed in the correct location ... the problem is that the html file contains the wrong path - it has ping.net/images rather than ping.net/mt/weblogs/images (which is what popped up from the question mark) - and the HTML file for the popup image points to the wrong folder as well, same as above

so i am confused as to why the image upload gets it right but the HTML creation gets munged - any ideas?

Do your Site URL and Archive URL correctly correspond to the paths? smile.gif

Hi
I got exactly the same problem with a malformed URL after uploading a image:

i tried uploading the image through movable types web interface into directory "images/"
this is the URL returned by the web interface
http://www.greaseproof.it/images/00002(10).jpg"

but it should be
http://www.greaseproof.it/news/images/0000...2(10).jpg"

Do you have the news bit in the Site URL or Archive URL (depending on whether you're choosing to upload to the Local or Archive Path)?
