is there a way that i can check the comments before they get posted. or can i get like an email when they are posted. how would i go about doing that?

You can get an email when new comments are posted by going into Weblog Config in your blog and selecting the appropriate action.

However, if you want to review comments before they're published on the site, you might want to look into comment queue

another thing, how come it posts up 2 things I am only doing it once?

Chmoding: if you installed MT yourself, you had to do this in the installation: uploading files. More details and info are on the MT Wiki: ChMod.


Posts up 2 things? You'll have to give an example, I'm not sure what you are referring to.

Make sure you click the submit button only once, and be patient while it posts. And don't hit refresh on the posting screen.
