Okay-

I continue to get this error on rebuilding:

mkdir /home/smartgro/www/mt: Permission denied at /home/smartgro/www/www/cgi-bin/lib/MT/FileMgr/Local.pm line 104

From Core Setup:
My local site path:
/home/smartgro/www/mt (set to chmod 777)

Local Archive path:
/home/smartgro/www/mt/archives (set to chmod 777)

Archive URL:
http://www.smartgrowthnc.org/mt/archives/

I also notice that there is a double www in the second line of the error message. Such a directory line does not exist. However, you could it execute the first 103 lines to get to 104 before sending the error? Any way I might remove the second www from the path?

It looks like since I can't get 777 permissions on the root directory of the site, I can't put the blog in the www directory.

Anybody found a way around this that doesn't open the whole site up for massive hacking?
