Hi,
I copied the contents of the stormy template into the template body text box in the edit template page and you will see it saved, but even after rebuilding all files, nothing changes.
you can access MT at:
www.rhcarter.com/movabletype/index.html
www.rhcarter.com/movabletype/mt.cgi
Log in using username and password "Test" if need be.
i tried installing MT on my OS X machine before installing it on OS X server and was having the same problem..
any help is much appreciated.

Your Site URL is incorrect. This should be the URL of your blog, not your MT installation. In your case, it looks like it should be
http://www.rhcarter.com/movabletype/Change it and see if it helps.

I had similar problem with OS X and Safari browser. The problem was solved when I emptied the cache before viewing the updated site. I do this with each rebuild. The site was being properly rebuilt, but Safari was showing me the cached site so the changes were not apparent.

I'm having the same exact problem with the Stormy template at my site that I am trying to build here:
http://www.lanalawrence.com/blogThe dotted vertical line cuts off and everything goes flush left. emptying my cache didn't solve the problem. Any suggestions?

LRL, it looks like you just don't have a recent enough entry to display on the main page -- the colors match the stormy template, and once you add more entries, the sidebar will "float" back into place.

Thanks so much for your reply -- I actually figured it out on my own after two or more hours of tinkering.... I just set this up not that long ago so hadn't made any real posts yet....
