One of my long-ish entries has been replaced by "greetengs." I've been a victim of comment spam before, but hacked entries? How do I prevent this from happening? I've already changed my password.
I never took entry backups seriously but now I will. Thanks to Google, the entry was cached so I immediately restored it.

With at least one browser (Safari), this can happen if you delete a comment in the comment editing form and then press "save" in the individual entry form. The first time this happened to me, I thought I'd been hacked, but I hadn't. I ended up changing my habits about how I edit comments, so this wouldn't happen.
You may want to consider MT-Blacklist, which modifies the notification email to include a "delete" link.

You may be right about that. This entry was one of those that received a spam comment. I may have inadvertantly pressed the wrong "save" button when deleting the rogue comment.
*whew* I thought it was some hacker. Thanks for the insight.

It is (IMNSHO) a pretty serious bug in Safari, but MT could work around it by giving the textareas different names.
