For the past few days, I have not been able to create a thumbnail when uploading a new image. Every time I try, I get this message:

QUOTE
An error occurred:

Can't load '/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/mach/auto/Image/Magick/Magick.so' for module Image::Magick: Shared object "libwmflite.so.2" not found at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.0/mach/DynaLoader.pm line 229. at lib/MT/Image.pm line 8 Compilation failed in require at lib/MT/Image.pm line 8. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at lib/MT/Image.pm line 8. Compilation failed in require at lib/MT/App/CMS.pm line 1012.

I have no idea what it means. I am NOT a "techy" type of person, so if anyone can help me, I would be oh so grateful if (if possible) the explanation could be stated as simply as possible. (Pretend I'm a very slow alien.)

I think you might have to contact your host about that, as the error seems specific to the Image Magick libraries, rather than MT. Perhaps your host "upgraded" something? huh.gif

If you don't get any joy from your host (or if no one can offer some more helpful advice!), you might want to look at using NetBPM instead of ImageMagick for thumbnails. It is fairly straight forward, but I'm sure an avid reader of your site who happens to be a moderator over here (hint, hint) would be willing to give you a hand if you get stuck. After all, we can't deprive the world of your fabulous lunches for too long. wink.gif

I have a similar problem with thumbnail. In my case, after uploding a new image, a different window will come up with no message for choice of thumnail that I got before. I contacted to my webhost and they said they upgraded ImageMagick.

What do I have to do the next?
