I did a search through the forum and did not find any info relating to these questions:

After I post an entry the first time and all the pings go through, and I have to edit the post and save again, how do I turn off the pings to linked posts so they don't get ponged to death? (I am a horrible proof-reader so I do a lot of edits.)

After I post the entry the first time, sometimes I add additional post links and save the edit. How can I send only the selected additional pings from an edited entry?
