Hi,

I need a feature that allows user to register on their own for defined parts in the log.

This feature e.g. is implemented in Antville. Does MT have it also?

If yes how I can realise that?

Thanks

I don't have any knowlege of Antville, but here's what I know about MT. smile.gif If you want to point us to the documentation on this feature in Antville, maybe we'll be able to give you a more direct answer. A quick browse through their site and I still didn't find anything about authors.

You can set up how ever many users/authors in the MT system as you need. When you set them up as an author, you select which options they have access to. Then they can post entries to the log.

Does that help?

Is there another version of this in English? I'm nervous about giving advice based on a Google translation smile.gif

MT doesn't have user registration features like Antville, no. The site owner can add users with various permissions such as creating new weblogs and writing new entries, but there's no provision for signing oneself up, or any roles such as "subscriber" or "commenter." MT Pro will include such but MT (at least currently) does not.
